Dioniso – 05.
Colour: Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, Square Central Mirror.
Post-Modern interior design.
Designed By: Ettore Sottsass.
This stunning piece comes in five unorthodox forms. Each one in the series plays on a common theme, experimenting freely with colour and shape these mirrors bring a playful scene of style into the home.
Designed by the late, great, italian designer and architect, Ettore Sottsass, produced by Glas Italia, as with much of his work these designs include a bold use of colour and shape as a pre cursor to the Memphis movement that materialized a full decade later.
Each of the image is labeled with its number in the ‘Dioniso’ series and can be selected from the drop down list with ease.
These mirrors can be hung horizontally and vertically due to the wall hanging plate that allows for different mounting positions.

ETTORE SOTTAS was born in Innsbruck, Austria, in 1917. He received his degree in architecture from the Turin Polytechnic in 1939. In 1947 he opened his own architecture and design office in Milan. Ettore Sottsass founded the Memphis Group in Milan on December 11, 1980. As the Memphis movement in the 1980s attracted attention worldwide for its energy and flamboyance, Ettore Sottsass began assembling a major design consultancy, which he named Sottsass Associati which was established in 1980 and gave the possibility to build architecture on a substantial scale as well as to design for large international industries. Sottsass Associati is now based in London and Milan and continue to sustain the work, philosophy and culture of the studio.
