During their project for Colart, the client made a request for two display cases that would house a range of their products but at the same time perform the separate functions of a coffee table and task desk within their reception area.
Because of the glass display element Morgan Lovell turned to Glassdomain to provide a solution.
After discussing the size required and the location a solution was proposed nad accepted.
The solution involved manufacturing a white colour coated timber tray which would be seated on a Ypsilon table base in anodized aluminium. The Ypsilon has a central tubular column which is fixed to a cast base comprising of three angled feet..
As part of the very functional yet clever design the top of the display case was rebated and also had two finger recesses cut into the sides. This enabled the toughened glass not only to sit flush with the edge of the case but also meant the glass could be easily removed for maintenance of the display.
The client was delighted with the result and Glassdomains relationship with Morgan Lovell remains the perfect partnership providing bespoke solutions to any glass related issues.
