Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • “Company” means Virdi’s (North) Ltd T/A Glassdomain, 473 Dudley Road, Birmingham, B18 4HE.

  • “Customer” means the individual or organisation purchasing Goods from the Company.

  • “Goods” means any furniture, lighting, or related products sold by the Company.

  • “Contract” means the agreement between the Company and the Customer for the sale of Goods and any related services.

2. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance by the Company.

  • A minimum deposit of 50% is required to confirm and process any order.

  • Full payment must be received before delivery or collection of the Goods.

  • Prices are subject to change if errors are found, with notice to the Customer.

3. Made-to-Order Goods

  • All Goods are made-to-order based on Customer specifications and are non-returnable once delivered, except where faulty or damaged.

  • Customers should ensure all measurements and specifications provided are accurate.

4. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to manufacturer or external factors.

  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring access to the delivery location is safe and adequate.

  • Additional charges may apply for difficult or specialist delivery requirements.

5. Returns and Faulty Goods

  • Customers must inspect Goods upon delivery and report any damage or faults within 3 days.

  • Faulty Goods will be repaired or replaced under manufacturer warranty, typically covering 12 months, excluding damage from misuse or wear.

  • Returns are generally not accepted due to the bespoke nature of the Goods, unless agreed by the Company at its discretion.

6. Liability

  • The Company is not liable for any loss or damage caused by improper use, installation, or handling of the Goods.

  • The Customer is responsible for any costs incurred due to incorrect measurements or unsuitable premises.

7. Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled within 7 days of confirmation without penalty.

  • After 7 days, cancellations may incur charges to cover manufacturing and administrative costs.

8. Force Majeure

  • The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure to deliver due to events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or supplier issues.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
