It consists of an intersection of three large fans, in an unusual material for the design sector – it comes instead from the food industry, looking like rice paper and able to evenly diffuse its light around the whole area. The fans are very fine and magnetically attached to the central section which holds the bulb, hidden away like a real and beating heart.

Designed by Paolo Rizzatto in 1986, this light harnesses a timeless elegance and can settle perfectly in to any décor style due to it’s easy personalisation. The interchangeable shade comes in ten different colours and diffuses a warm and pleasant light, perfect for reading, working, writing or just resting.
The Costanzina can vary its height from 1 to 2.5 metres, it is easy to adjust by the counterweight that hangs from the ceiling rose as seen on the specification sheet. The counterweight is white, ensuring it blends in well with the design. This suspension light also harbours an integrated on/off switch in the form of a control rod that hangs from the shade, close to the light source – the design ensures that this is easy to reach.
